I can't say I'm all that familiar with any of Blunt's previous work - I've just noticed her pop up every now and then since her first role back in 2003. Although her relatively unknown status may change after she stars alongside Benicio Del Toro in the upcoming film The Wolfman. The folks over at CBM have today unearthed a smattering of concept art from the Jon Favreau-directed sequel, and they place the focus squarely on Tony Stark’s newfound allies. One is an old friend, of course – you know, despite being played by a different actor – while the other hails from S.H.I.E.L.D. a super-secret organization that served as something of a launchpad for The Avengers. When Black Widow first arrived inIron Man 2, she was positioned as a supporting player in Tony Stark's (Robert Downey Jr.) story. As Johansson said, she was a very seductive figure, and it felt very much like since Tony and others might've seen her that way, that was the front she put on. However, now that Natasha has grown as her own person throughout the MCU, her genuine heart becomes the biggest facet of her character.

The Black Widow that first appeared in 2010's Iron Man 2 isn't quite the same superhero that will grace the big screen in Black Widow come July. But that's kind of a good thing, according to star Scarlett Johansson, who talked to Collider on June 15th. Johansson says she's seen a massive change in the way female superheroes are presented and are much less sexualized than they once were. In fact, she believes her character Black Widow was "hyper-sexualized" in Iron Man 2, but no one was really paying attention to that sort of thing at the time.

Osborn orders Yelena to lead the current Thunderbolts to kill former Thunderbolt, Songbird. Fury orders "Yelena" to rescue and retrieve Songbird for the information she might possess about Osborn and his operations. Yelena finds Songbird and reveals to her that she was really Natasha Romanova in disguise. She tries delivering Songbird to Fury but the Thunderbolts have also followed them.
Although Black Widow is able to prevent herself from forming an attachment to Tony and Pepper, it is less avoidable in her new circumstances. For one thing, Tony is rather insufferable and he isn't an endearing child - even though he sure likes to act like a child sometimes. For another, Kuroki was undercover much longer than herIron Man 2counterpart. By comparison, her assignment with Tony was laughably short. That should be one of the easiest assignments she has ever had - particularly when juxtaposed with this one.

She wears no costume during her first few appearances but simply evening wear and a veil. Romanova eventually defects to the U.S. for reasons that include her love for the reluctant-criminal turned superhero archer, Hawkeye. Even though Black Widow fails her assignment in this instance, it proves more positives than negatives for her character.
Black Widow appeared in the Iron Man portion of The Marvel Super Heroes, voiced by Margaret Griffin. By The Ultimates 3 #1 a sex tape between Natasha and Stark has been leaked to the public. According to Janet Pym, the tape is of unknown origin and seems to have been professionally done with "close ups". Stark is shown to be in a state of depression over Natasha's betrayal and subsequent death. It is later revealed that one of the Ultrons calling himself Yellowjacket had leaked the tape. During the Brotherhood's attack on the Stark Mansion, Mystique shapeshifts into Natasha to get close to Tony in an attempt to kill him but is knocked unconscious by Wasp.
