I’m wearing a large in both dresses, the black is a bit thicker in fabric and a bit smaller. The striped is very flowy which I like for warm days. The black is too hot for summer in subtropical Germany but perfect for spring, fall or vacation at the sea.
Based upon the chart and my hip size in particular, I should have gone with an XL. Upon reading multiple reviews I ended up going with a L and think a M may actually have been the best fit. The merino is a good weight even for hot Texas summers.
